Every verdict shows its reasons
The ratios, the limits, the page in the financial statements and the standard applied. No "trust us".
Wazn Screen screens Egyptian Exchange stocks against the EGX33 Shariah index and AAOIFI standards, and computes purification and zakat for you. Use it as an API, or as an MCP server inside Claude and any AI agent.
Illustrative example with a fictional ticker (ACME), not an assessment of any real company.
Why Wazn Screen
Most compliance lists give you a yes or a no without saying why, when it was last updated, or against which standard. We show you the arithmetic.
The ratios, the limits, the page in the financial statements and the standard applied. No "trust us".
point-in-time data, refreshed with every semi-annual EGX33 review and every quarterly result. Ask: was this stock compliant on a given day?
A REST API for your app, and an MCP server that lets Claude or any AI agent screen your portfolio from the conversation.
How it works
Any doubt in the data rejects the stock. When we are not sure, we fail closed; nothing passes by default.
The stock must be in the index review in force on the date you ask about. If it drops out, it is marked Excluded immediately.
Interest-bearing debt, interest-bearing cash and non-compliant income, from the latest published statements. Close to a limit means Watchlist, before the next review.
Compliant, Watchlist or Excluded, with the reasons, plus the purification ratio to apply to dividends.
Developers
Add Wazn Screen as an MCP server in Claude Desktop, Claude Code or any MCP client, or call the REST API directly.
Preview: the planned API shape; still in development.
